Our Preacher

Mike Guest, age 42, came to our congregation in late 1999 as a part time or fill in preacher. He took over as our regular preacher in April 2002.  Mike conducted his studies through Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas and recently received a degree in Biblical Studies from that institution. He is married to Pam, also 42. Together they have a son, daughter in-law, and one grandson.

Message from the preacher -
"Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."

These words of our Lord, found in Matthew 11:28, are especially meaningful in today's world. The hustle and bustle of the business climate and the struggles of providing for our families, all feel like a ton of bricks on our backs. We can have faith in knowing that through Jesus Christ, our burdens are eased, our labors take on a meaning and our hearts and souls are opened to the love and care and mercy of Him, who was sent as an atonement for our sins. His blood, shed for those sins, cleanses us, easing our burdens and giving us rest.  Won't you accept Him today?

God bless you -
Mike
